Bourne
Bourne is divided by the Cape Cod Canal , and serves as the gateway to Cape Cod from the South and West. It is a Town with villages on both sides of the canal and fronts on Buzzards Bay . With lots of fine harbors and estuaries, all types of water sports and activities are available. It has lovely quiet villages, with winding roads that are a joy to drive or bicycle. It has understated waterfront communities and affordable neighborhoods. Not as well known as some of its “ Upper Cape ” neighbors, Bourne offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle that many sense is the only option on Cape Cod .
