Mashpee has variety to suit all tastes. Fine shopping at the Mashpee Commons, the unspoiled South Cape Beach , beautiful freshwater lakes and ponds, this Town is a home for all seasons. With large preserves of open space for walking, great fishing spots (salt and fresh), rivers and streams to kayak, and at the end of the day all manner of fine or casual dining spots to enjoy, this Town is open Year Round! There is the summer playground of New Seabury (now a community of many year round Residents), the cottages near the bays and ponds, and the history of the federally recognized Wampanaog Indian tribe, whose ancestors met the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock!
