RENT VERSUS OWN OR WHY BUY??
Buying a home is a big decision, whether it is for a primary residence, or second home. The reasons for buying a home on Cape Cod are no different than purchasing in other areas, except that we have fewer newer houses than areas with substantial vacant land to create new, large subdivisions. That makes the prices higher than in many areas, and means that sometimes the standard “ratios” aren’t as easy to apply.
